Meet Victoria’s Young Member - Lucas Ryan

Lucas Ryan
National Youth Week is an opportunity for young people all around Australia to have their voices heard, showcase their talents and celebrate being young.

Youth Ministers around Australia have delegated the responsibility for planning 2008 National Youth Week to a National Planning Group.

The Planning Group is made up of a young member to assist a staff member from each of the Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments. Together they are involved in all aspects of planning, developing, implementing and promoting National Youth Week.

Lucas Ryan is representing Victoria for 2008 National Youth Week as the young member.

Lucas has a key role in talking with young people and community groups about National Youth Week issues, events and activities, and incorporating feedback from these young people and organisations into the planning of National Youth Week.

You can catch up with Lucas through his regular blogs on externalinkimage youthcentral in the lead up to National Youth Week, to find out what he is doing, how National Youth Week is progressing and how you can contact him.
