3. Community Capacity Building
Victorian Youth Mentoring Alliance (VYMA)
The Victorian Youth Mentoring Alliance (VYMA) is a non-government, representative, peak-body of youth mentoring programs in Victoria. Our members consist of a wide range of organisations and individuals involved in mentoring of young people up to the age of 25 years from diverse backgrounds and experiences. The VYMA aims to empower young people through establishing an alliance that effectively coordinates and supports the youth mentoring sector. Our role is to support our members to implement successful and sustainable practices, create networks of communication, and to promote youth mentoring in the broader community.
