FReeZA

The FReeZA program provides opportunities for young Victorians to enjoy drug and alcohol free music and cultural events in their local area. Each year, more than 165,000 young people attend FReeZA gigs throughout the state.

With the support of local not-for-profit organisations, FReeZA gigs are researched, organised and delivered by local young people who form a FReeZA Committee – an experience that gives committee members great exposure to the music and event industries.

FReeZA committees are located in metropolitan, rural and regional Victoria and are made up of young people aged 12 to 25. The committees plan and organise drug and alcohol free events that suit the needs of the young people in that particular location.

FReeZA isn’t just rock ‘n’ roll – events include everything from Battle of the Bands to theatrical productions and art exhibitions. Visit FReeZA for more information about how young people can join a local FReeZA committee or to find out about FReeZA gigs in your area.
